It happens only in India, my country.

Talent presides in each and every corner of my country. Even a simple 'chaiwala' may have the capability to grow up to become a millionaire. That's what the type of plots we see in Bollywood movies. These things are not entirely fiction. Even fiction takes birth from fact. And India is a country where these fictitious on-screen events take the shape of a real life character in some corner of the country.
The epic comic character Spiderman has a twin in India. Yes there is a man who climbs cliffs and other difficult (almost perpendicular) walls without any support or life saving measures. Here in India we can find small children of less than 5 years of age walking on 20mm rope at 20m height above the ground. That's a great balance act. It's found only in India that even though people die together in a terrorist attack, they rise of together the very next day and continue their life as if nothing has happened. This positive attitudes towards life gives a severe blow to the teeth of the evil who had planned to cripple the unity of the nation. It happened only in India that people who hated acting and movies were forced to join movies due to lack of alternate source of income. And ultimately within a few months and a couple of movies turn out to be the most loving man/woman of the country. This is called the 'inner calling'. This is how fate changes life within a few months. It happens in India that people who had dreams but no resources, just like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, opt for petty works which often included works that are considered only by the lower most class. This is the thirst of passion.

It happens only in India that pizza delivery get home before the police reaches the crime scene. It's seen in India that people who run the administration of the nation bring about such reforms that fills their pocket without getting noticed. The spirit of democracy often doesn't give true justice in time to the one who is in utter need of it. The administers have corrupted the system so much that when the guilty gets punishment, the victim would have been probably dead by that time. Indians eagerly wait for the annual budget expecting some relief to their pocket change but each and every time faces 70% sadness and 30% happiness. Such budgets are seen for 4 years on stretch and just on the 5th annual budgets, the relief just becomes double for the administers want another set of 5 years to fill the pocket. After the elections the relief received is retreated back giving lame excuses. The prices of the moat important commodities have almost doubled in value within past 10 years. Automobiles are billions in no, running throughout the nation. The prices of petrol has changed from 30 to around 75 per litre in the past 15 years.

It happens in India that a spark ignited by a brave person often breaks a fire for revolution. But every revolution has to go through the parliament. And thats where it is suppressed down to suit the corrupt needs of the filthy rich. It happens in India that the income of a alcohol store per month is more than the monthly income of the president.
With due respect to the constitution makers, I would sorely believe equip the office of the president with more authority and power.

It happens in India that system makes rules on paper, takes measures to implement them but then again doesn't care to check the progress. It turns its head to see the cracks on the plan only when something bad occurs to the society and everyone comes down the street questioning the authorities. If there were pre-defined punishments for cases like rape, child abuse, women torture and the accuse to be directly put to chastisement on guilt being proved. No challenging. No excuses.

If only the police system was strong enough, if only the actions were quick enough; innocent girls' life would have been spared, innocent kids' life would have been spared. If only the government din't wait for something to happen before implementing rules.

It happens in India that enemy is considered a guest. Terrorists captured are put to trial and millions are spent in their security even if the whole country, even a decade old child knows of their guilt. And when their death arrives without informing the public, the general folks rejoice while the dirty ones try to gain TRP from questioning the authorities.

It happens in India that a on-screen story is expected to reach the public only if it contains an erotic scene or if it contains a item song by an leading semi-nude actress charging half the budget of the movie for that one dance. It's rarely seen when a story with no such scene or no controversy is absorbed deeply by the public. It's now an era of thumping beat songs with crazy lyrics while the beautiful combo of sweet melody with singers singing the song from the heart, feeling each word of the lyricist, have downsized in the backyard.

It happens in India that the national game (Hockey) is considered puny before cricket, a game barely flayed by a population equal to that of Britain. The players are stars and each ones income per month exceeds more than the total monthly income of the House of People. The game is considered no less than a war. Every time the selected are on the field, the whole country stays glued to the television screens throughout the 8 hour long play cursing every good score of the opposition and cheering every good performance of the eleven. Wins are celebrated emphatically while losses leas the playing XI good through severe criticism both from public and media. Practically those XI goats carry the load of 1.2 billion people expecting them to win every game. A game is not kept upto a level of game, it's a war on the field.

Albert Eisenstein said, " I do not know what weapons would be used in World War III but I do know World War IV would be fought with sticks and stones."

I don't know if the stock market would gain or lose in 2050 but I do speculate that 22nd century is in our hands. We, the aspiring teens are responsible for shaping up the 22nd century. Its our choice to whom or what we make our foremost priority- Our country or Own pocket.

It's our responsibility to bring back the 100+ million billion rupees stuck in swiss bank as unknown income of the corrupt so that 22nd century is tax free with all the basic resources as cheap as dirt and the GDP of the country more than any other in the world. We need to turn the 'developing' phase stuck with our name with a phase such as 'supreme power'.
